Anyone wishing to take their Christmas tree for recycling may drop it off at any one of the four A to Z Equipment Rental and Sales locations between Monday, Dec. 26 and Saturday, Jan. 7. Trees must be free of all decorations including lights, bulbs, ribbon, garland and tree stands. There is no charge and there is a limit of one tree per family.Trees will be accepted at these locations from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. every day except New Year’s Eve, Friday, Dec. 31 when collection will stop at noon:

BUCKEYE GREEN WASTE AND CHRISTMAS TREE RECYCLING
Christmas tree collection at the curb on the normal green waste schedule. Remove all tinsel, garland, ornaments, lights and stands. No artificial trees. For more information call the Buckeye Public Works Department at 623-349-6100. The collection will be for live Christmas trees, with all decorations, tinsel, tree stands and nails removed. No bagged trees will be collected, and artificial trees should be donated to a local charity.

Since the City does not provide curbside pick up for Christmas trees, residents may drop off their live Christmas trees for recycling beginning Wednesday, December 26, 2018, through Friday, January 11, 2019.
Please adhere to the recycling guidelines:

Recycle your Christmas Tree! The City of Peoria encourages residents to dispose of live Christmas trees at the locations noted below. Live trees will be accepted at the locations from December 26, 2016 to January 5, 2017.
