I would like to give a shout out to the Southwest Lending Closet. The Southwest Lending Closet is an all volunteer organization that provides medical equipment - non mechanical - to those in need at no charge. It's a great organization that serves more than just the West Valley.

WHAT THEY DO: Lend durable medical equipment, at no charge, to those in need. 
ABOUT: The Southwest Lending Closet is a 501(c)(3) Charity, and tax deductible donations raised through various fund raising efforts have helped sustain our mission. Throughout the years, the Southwest Lending Closet has been generously supported by the cities of Avondale, Buckeye, Goodyear, Litchfield Park and Tolleson through annual grants which have allowed for the purchase of new equipment.

The Southwest Lending Closet is an established organization that has been doing business in the valley for fourteen years.

We are a Non Profit all volunteers organization.

Our mission is to loan Home Health Equipment to all in need. This is a free 90 day loan. The only thing we ask is that the person who is picking the items up have a valid drivers license, or state id. We need addresses and phone numbers on our form, also
  
The equipment that we have for loan is Durable Medical Equipment. Including Wheelchairs, Companion Chairs, Knee Scooters. Crutches, Canes, Walkers, Four Wheel Walkers, Commodes, Elevated Toilet Seats, Bed Rails, Shower Stools and Chairs, Bath Transfer Benches and several dressing assist devices. We do not have anything that is motorized nor do we have Hospital Beds. Electric Scooters or Motorized Recliners.
