Thousands of people Valley-wide come together to celebrate the annual Anthem Independence Day Celebration. Along with the traditional fireworks display, fun rides, activities and festival food, families bring blankets and lawn chairs and sit back to enjoy the spectacular event.

The annual event includes:

Food vendors
Water slides, rides and inflatables (see below)
Music/dancing
Fireworks finale (9:30 p.m.)
Free admission and parking
Puchase an “All-you-can-ride/bounce Bracelet” for an early bird price during the month of June at the Community Center.

Fireworks over Verrado

Walk, bike, skateboard, or float* your way down Main Street to the fun-filled after-party in Founders Park. Friends and family are invited to gather along Main Street to wave flags and watch one of Verrado’s most magical traditions.

Enjoy entertainment at Founders Park immediately after the parade with waterslides, the annual Apple Pie Baking Contest, watermelon eating competition, games and much more.

Parade participants must pre-register and check-in outside The Center on Main between 8:30 – 8:50 a.m.

No motorized vehicles except golf carts allowed in the parade. Open to residents of all ages and community clubs.

Residents, you must log in to register.
Join us for a fun pool party with music and family-friendly poolside activities to cool off and celebrate Verrado’s Spirit of Independence.

No registration required; Heritage Swim Park rules and guest policies apply.
Wrap up the day’s festivities by enjoying a spectacular fireworks display over Verrado. Bring your family, friends and picnic blankets to the driving range at the Verrado Golf Club for a sparkling fireworks display. The fireworks begin at approximately 9:00 p.m., subject to weather conditions. Please note, Verrado Grille will be closed; please follow signs in parking lot to fireworks viewing location entrance.
